Remarks & Notes
An evening inbound Milwaukee District Metra is shoved to Union Station by an RTA F40PH. #115 was from the first order of RTA units in Fall of 1977. The train has just crossed Canal Street while impatient pedestrians cross the tracks. The double bridge ahead is Lake Street (and the Lake Street Elevated - built in 1893 and now the Green Line on CTA's Chicago 'L'). If you look above the truss bridge on the Chicago River, an "L" is approaching. The open draw bridge behind Lake Street is Radolph Street.
