| With a backdrop of the Los Angeles skyline to look at, an old GP40, rebuilt by Motive Power into a GP38-2, sits at the Myers Team Track alongside the Metrolink East Bank River Sub. This location was the freight depot of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad (a Union Pacific subsidiary). #1075 was originally delivered by EMD to the Rio Grande as #3053 Jan 1966. It was completely rebuilt into a GP38-2 Oct 1998. Still looks like a GP40 to me. |
