Remarks & Notes

Brownwood limestone drifts through Sealy behind BNSF SD45-2 6488 and four other SDs. Only the 4th 45-2 built for the AT&SF, the 6488 was completed in May of '72 as ATSF 5628, Serial # 7391-4. She was later renumbered to ATSF 5838 before wearing her current BNSF number.
