| D&M RS-2 977 had an interesting history. It was built in 1949 for the Delaware & Hudson as #4020, then it was sold in 1962 to the Lond Island RR as #1520. In 1977 it was sold again through NI&M to the D&M who rebuilt it, add a new fule tank and moved the batteries to the walkways making it look like an RS-3. In 1992 the D&M became Lake State and in 1999 Lake State sold 977 to Morris Leasing Co. of White Pigeon mi. |
