Mixed Emotions. Two hundred new SD70ACes are slotted for Alliance, NE throughout 2008 meaning an equal number of SD70MACs, currently assigned there, will be moved to Glendive, MT. That means the SD60Ms, currently assigned to Glendive, will be getting the boot to Chicago to make room for the MACs. This shot is one that we may be seeing more often as the SD60M's era on northern plains coal will be coming to a close. But the good news is that these two Whiteface units retain their original Burlington Northern road numbers in the 9200-series, which the new ACes will be assuming, as they hurtle grain hoppers east into Fisher.
