United Aircraft and DOT joined the Penn Central in operating the Turbotrain between Boston and New York. It was a success with the passengers, but did fit with conventional trains in operations. It was really just an experiment. It was probably the best equipment the PC ever operated. For more Trubo train shots Click here.
