Remarks & Notes

It was around 4AM as the last WP California Zephyr was readied to head West from Elko, Nevada at the SP station in downtown. The last Eastward Zephyr had left several hours earlier. Today, all tracks thru Elko have been removed and relocated around the South edge of town.
