| With foreign power quite rare east of Toronto, an unexpected and welcome sight rounds the bend as WC 6944 leads UP 9233 and CN train 149 at Lovekin, Ontario. Though the WC's are not uncommon, the UP unit (clean paint, too) is a good catch since most of the "interesting" stuff gets turned back towards Chicago at Toronto. Update: With the WC 6900 series SD40-3's leases expiring in March 2008, they are being parked in Chicago until they are returned. Virtually the entire fleet is out of service as of mid-December 2007. 1725hrs. |
