| Remarks: A truck has once again managed to wedge itself under the Springfield Avenue underpass, which usually happens several times a month. This one is worse than most, though, with the trucker managing to make it under both of the overhead bridges and completely stripping off the top of the trailer. |

That sort of thing happens in Aurora too! Most of the trucks get stuck under the CB&Q viaduct on S. Broadway. |

Yeah, the bridge is part of U.S. Rt. 45, which for the most part, is nothing but farm fields for 100 miles in either direction. This one happened at about 4:50 A.M., and I'm guessing that most happen like this, when it's dark out and they're cruising along and don't worry much about clearances. It's a fairly regular occurence. |
