| Remarks: Conrail passenger train with two FL9s showing both their NYNH&H and PC/MTA heritage, and a string of former Delaware & Hudson passenger cars heads out of town. The cars are ex Lackawanna Phoebe Snow cars from ACF in 1949. These cars were owned by NYSDOT who paid for the equipment to be refurbished for the Amtrak "Adirondack" service. When D&H equipment was replaced by Turboliners, the D&H coaches became surplus, and they were moved to New York for use on the MTA commuter lines. |
