Remarks & Notes

The 1744 is currently headed for excursion service over the ex-DRGW La Veta pass on the San Luis and Rio Grande. But this is the SP 1744 in 1958, on a fan trip on the Knights Landing branch. It also happens to be from the very first role of Kodachrome I ever shot, with a borrowed Argus C3.
