| Remarks: One of the neatest things about the formation of Conrail was the frequent appearance of motive power we normally didn't see in Chicago. This nice looking Lehigh Valley GP38AC later became CR 7656. |

It's amazing what comes through Illinois over the years. I grew up in New Jersey and saw Lehigh Valley all of the time. But it certainly would have been strange to see this unit in Illinois. Good catch. |
