Remarks: Pumpkin Time : Spring time in Pennsylvania's farm country isn't the usual time of year one thinks of pumpkins, but these 2 BNSF units leading elephant style, on a loaded unit train out of Bailey Mine certainly changes that school of thought, if only for a few minutes.

You can usually find 6 SD40-2's assigned to Powhatan's 3 67 car shuttle trains with one on each end in this push/pull operation. Here NS 3431 EX CR 6970 rebuilt from PacRail/KCS SD40 620 is seen crossing Captina Creek with Empties.
