Running about 15 hours late westbound VIA #1 is bathed in the late evening sun as it passes Ardrossan. This sort of late running seems to be the norm rather than the exception these days.

BR Standard Class 7MT, 70013 "Oliver Cromwell" has just arrived at Leicester North Station and is about to run round it's train ready for the journey back to Loughborough.
Running about 9 hours late eastbound VIA #2 clears Tofield having stood for about an hour for no apparent reason. Good for railfans, get to see it in the daylight.
