Here is a picture of the very first double header on the Goose Creek Railroad. The two locomotives cannot be MU'd, so it was a true double header. The lead locomotive is GCRR's original locomotive #5 and the second locomotive is GCRR #16 which is currently under restoration (notice the lack of hood and windows).

From the caboose looking forward, Goose Creek Railroad #16 (gasoline-mechanical) is on a test run around GCRR's loop during its year long restoration. This locomotive is two-foot gage and is powered by a 1959 Jeep engine. GCRR acquired the loco in 2006 from the Tuckahoe Valley RR in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
