Remarks: In eerie darkness, an eastbound UP stacker lights up the night between tunnels # 31, 32. After the train rounds the curve through tunnel 32 it will be at the famous Keddie Wye.
Remarks: An UP hot stack train heads north out of the UP yard in Roseville, CA under the town land mark arch bridge. The lone unit in the lead is a new, and very clean GE. They is one more GE on the rear as a helper.
Remarks: Working up grade, UP 844, UP 1996, and UP 1983, lead a Special under the old SP signal bridge at Boca. The sun is out on Donner Pass, and so are boatloads of rail fans to see this historic steamer make its way to Roseville.
Remarks: As the sun sets on a clear fall day in the windy city, an in bound Metro train is approaching Union station in downtown. This shot was taken on the last day of my only trip to Chicago, and this shot made it was a memorable one.
