The Rio Grande heritage and its Chicago bound Z train are on the move after waiting for a westbound stack to pass by.

The inspection special rounds the curve at Terra Cotta and passes an eastbound coal train. Terra Cotta is nestled in the Smokey Hills west of Salina.

After getting re-fueled and taking on a fresh crew the Missouri Pacific Heritage unit takes its Z train east out of the yard. Next stop Kansas City.
