Remarks: What is going on here? CSX W049-16 is seen southbound at CT Junction in Cincinnati with a TRIO of Jordan Spreaders. Are they being retired? Rebuilt? Sold? It's unusual to see one of these rare pieces of equipment, much less three of them together.
Remarks: CSX S268-09 crosses Bridge 41 / Bullock Pen Trestle at Independence on its journey northbound from Louisville to Cincinnati with the "Spirit of Cincinnati" leading.
Remarks: I&O 4070 leads 43 loaded autoracks from the Honda plant in Greensburg, Indiana, to interchange with both CSX and NS at Cincinnati, Ohio. Here the train is shown on the former Big 4 Chicago East mainline and running parallel to CSX's former B&O Cincinnati to St. Louis mainline.
Remarks: B&O EA 51 and B&O GP7 6405 at the B&O Museum in Baltimore. These old soldiers have done their duty and are now enjoying the admiration of museum visitors, although both are in need of restoration work.
Remarks: CSX Q507-31 arrives at Queensgate Yard and the Race To Safety is on at Queensgate, as demonstrated by the "Cincinnati Special 00" parked at the entrance to the yard. Note the speaker above the rear wheel. It plays a safety message for the employees of the terminal.
