Remarks: BF-3 heads South on the Ebenezer Secondary and eventually the Buffalo Line. The terminal looming overhead and the line this train is traversing are both shadows of their former selves.

Remarks: Amtrak 68 rolls over the Saranac River in downtown Plattsburgh with the dome in tow. The dome is added every fall so that riders can better view some of the spectacular scenery along the North End. This was the seventh time I'd tried this shot and the first time I managed to get it in sunlight.

Remarks: Due to problems with the third unit, JBSI (with a former KCS tunnel motor leading the way) wasn't able to make the hill, so they doubled their train to Mount Jewett (where the crew would end up outlawing for the day).
