The CN has been changing some 115-lb/yd rail for heavier 136-lb/yd along the Saint-Hyacinthe Subdivision but had to use these transition rails to fit the turnouts.

The track on MMA's Saint-Guillaume Branch in Sainte-Rosalie is one of the worse I have ever seen. Just look at how the loco is leaning! It is 85-lb track that is almost a century old!
