Remarks: The 21.2km long line between Feldbach and Bad Gleichenberg is unusual in that it is electrified at 800V DC, whereas the "main line" it connects to is not electrified at all. ET2 is one of the two passenger cars on this line and date from the opening of the line in 1931, however both units were extensively rebuilt in 1978 and 1990.

Remarks: This is probably one of the last runs of AFB/GM class 53 as owner TUC has now replaced then with other motive power. 5311 stands next to the ornate waiting room / subway entrance at Binche with Mercia Charters "The Resurrection" charter.

Remarks: D1015 pauses at Aviemore on the long trek back south to Birmingham. The piper was waiting for another train, but was persuaded to serenade this unusual sight of a former Western Region locomotive in deepest Scotland.

Remarks: The latest addition to the Leighton Buzzard Railway's extensive locomotive collection is this 4-6-0T built by Baldwin Locomotive Works, Philadelphia, USA (Works No. 44656). It was built for use in France during WW1 so had a starring role in the Railway's "Narrow Gauge at War" event last week.
