Outstanding color in the pre-dawn sky!
At 6:45AM on Wednesday morning it is going to be a long day of all work and no play for the riders of VRE 304.
The clouds are beginning to clear over the Potomac as 304 pushes toward D.C. [a nod to Mr. Hamlin for pioneering the sunrise shot here]
VRE train 304 derailed on a switch at Possum Point at 645AM. The train in the background is taking the passengers back south towards Fredericksburg area stations.
