Engineer Joe Fox eases his train into Sheepscot Station in preparation for the last run of the day. A volunteer at the WW&F since age 14, Joe is now a full-time railroader.

Annual Picnic 2009. WW&F Ry No 10, along with coach 3, coach 8, and open car 103, have just exited Cockeye curve and are gliding toward Davis grade, on a spectacular summers day in Maine.

Running northward tender first, WW&F Ry No 10 appears to be keeping a watchful eye on her train, as engineer Joe Fox peeks back over his shoulder and applies more throttle.

As dusk settles in, it becomes apparent that the 410's headlights are illuminated -- a nice touch that lends more life to the display.
