A classic SD40-2 leads today's NS/CSX interchange train as it is about to pass underneath the 22nd Street bridge in Birmingham and drop off cars on the "high line" track.

Man and his machine. With their work nearly done, the conductor of AB10 applies the derail as his engines head onto a siding off of the East End District and back towards Irondale.

After leaving cars for CSX on the "high line" to the right, AB10 makes its way underneath the new signal bridge that controls the NS/CSX interlocking as Q183 waits for a light.
