On a bright sunny afternoon, the Savanna and Atlanta (1065) pushes through Canton, Ohio leading on NS 578. 578 was underpowered but still making her way.

The famed Conrail Heritage unit is on the point of loaded coal train 578 as it soars over the Tuscarawas River in Massillon, quickly approaching CP Mace.

On the point of 578 - the Conrail Heritage unit's first revenue train roars over Apple Creek on the south side of Wooster.

Storms build to the east as NS 578 pounds the Wheeling & Lake Erie Diamond at CP WANDLE in Canton and rolling under the PRR position lights that guard the diamonds.

NS 578 throttles out of the dip west of Naylor Ohio as a eastbound stack train kicks up the coal dust off of the loaded train.

"NS 578 Medium Clear CP Rochester" comes over the radio as NS 8098 starts to pull west out out of Rochester as it leads its first train and makes it's first revenue mile.
