With the rain now slowing down, another eastbound is making his way through the mountains, CSX Q436 mixed freight from Selkirk to Framingham coasts down hill through the colorful trees.
Just before the sun ducks behind the mountain, eastbound Q426 crosses a swiftly flowing Westfield river just east of the center of Huntington.

Here we have two species of the SD70 genus: the newer flared radiator CSX SD70MAC and the newer flared radiator UP SD70M...basically identical except for the UP's newer style nose...

A SD45-2 body is a sweet catch this day in age!!! This is an ex-Trona Railways SD40M-2, nee ATSF SD45-2. Helm dubbed this locomotive as a plain SD40-2 by the stencil under the window.
