Manifest Q416 crosses the Potomac River from Marlyand into West Virginia with an SD70MAC 4769, SD40-2 8436 and C40-8W 7707.

Beards Road Crossing in Berkeley County, WV along the North Mountain Grade has two s-curves and cut on each side. Here the gates come down as Q416 is about to turn the corner around Paxton Cut.

One of the few SD70ACe engines lead the newly released SD40-3 CSX 4009 out of the yard at Brunswick onto mainline headed west.

Q416 with only two of the seven units on line struggles up the grade towards Cumberland. The second unit 8867 puts out quite a bit of smoke.

A GP40-2 leads the Q416 west towards Cumberland Maryland passing under a B&O style signal bridge.
