Built in 1903 by the American Bridge Company of New York, train 1944 to Waterbury crosses the double span Warren through truss bridge over the Naugatuck River in Ansonia.

The line number 4 from Paris to Belfort in the east of France is still a line for diesel traction. Till this day the tracks are lined with old telegraph poles.
