A pair of UP motors haul an empty coal train west towards the Powder River Basin. Upon arrival in Bailey Yard, the train will be tied down for it's 1,000 mile inspection.
A westbound UP manifest is only a couple miles from the end of the D&RGW's Dotsero Cutoff as it cruises between the Colorado River and 900-foot-tall bluffs on an autumn afternoon.

At this point, the pair of units are the tail end of a coal train.
