NS 650 Coal Train with 99 cars of coal at the RT 53 bridge in Gallitzin, PA

It is as cold as it looks, temperature near 10 degrees as C90 pulls ahead slowly preparing to back into the mine for loading.

This is NS 650, a coal train with 2 SD80 MAC's pulling 99 coal cars with 2 SD40E's on the rear leaving out of a yard just south of the wye in South Fork, PA at 1157 hrs.

MACs up the hill.

Almost a straight flush. NS 7215, 14, 13, and 12 lined up at the Cresson engine facility.

NS 650 waits at CP MO for its head-end helpers to hook up before heading east towards Gallitzin and Altoona on a beautiful Fall night.
