CN 2240, IC 2463 and 2130 bring 422s train into Aldershot yard where they will make a set off and lift before completing their journey to Mac Yard.
CN 2240 leads an empty coal train destined for the PRB across the Canoe River, west of Valemount, BC. On the headend of this train were 32 cars of mixed freight for Vancouver.
The Engineer and Conductor of trains C723 and S700 (respectively) exchange waves as their trains meet east of Valemount, BC.
CN ES44DC 2240, BNSF SD70MACs 8827, 8939 and CN SD70M-2 8817 speed out of Valemount with coal empties for the PRB.
CN C723 slows to a stop at Von Zuben to meet CN S700.
Looking more like a CN freight than a joint BNSF/CN coal train, C723 heads west on the CN Robson Sub, east of Valemount, BC.
CN and BNSF power lead an empty coal east on CN's Tete Jaune Sub, west of Dunster. This train is heading back to the Powder River Basin for another load.
CN 2240 passes some magnificent fall colour at Wabron.
CN 2240 and CN 8820 lead sulphur empties down the main at Wabron, with C778 hot on his heals. M301 is waiting in the siding, along with P609.
