A BNSF Denver, CO to Laurel, MT manifest, (H-DENLAU), slowly approaches M.P. 51, as it takes the siding at Longs Peak, CO.

BNSF Grain train cruises through the gorge striking contrast of angles and curves with the terrain and the arc of the fill.

A westbound passes Turkey Hills in the background. I found this spot to be an awesome place to shoot, lots of colors at this time of year along the Seligman Subdivision.

Due to some MoW work in the area, westbounds were running opposite main toward Dilworth. Here a stack train cuts across the MN countryside.

Taken from the cab of LLW SD9E 4433, this Z train heads towards Vancouver. He had to make a short stop at the Willamette River draw to wait for the bridge to get locked up.
