A family with child await a southbound Regional train on the day before Christmas. These passengers are headed to Richmond Virginia; so they will be home for Christmas.

A late running Amtrak 5, the westbound California Zephyr, drops down the Roseville sub passing through Rocklin on its way to its next station stop in Roseville, CA.

A short hike and a little rock climbing provided a nice vantage point for the California Zephyr heading east through the foothills on Track 2.
