7199 leads DC 4571 on this Palmerston North - Napier train.
Ab 608 hauled Steam Incorporated Tour train meets DFT 7199 working train 624 from Palmerston North to Napier at Takapau.
DFT 7199 is assisted by DC 4300 (EMD G22AR) on train 125 from Whangarei. The 200km line passes through 13 tunnels and is rustic and scenic. Sadly it is without a certain future.
DFT 7199 leads DXB 5270 west out of the Heathcoat tunnel after dumping coal at the port.
