The day after Christmas finds this Alco awaiting the next rock train from CSX. Its not everyday you can find an S1, let alone in good looking paint.
Conrad Yelvington is pulling rock loads out of Kaley Yard while Pinsly's Z915 holds the #1 track & Amtrak's P091 runs down #2.
Conrad Yelvington's Kaley facility is kept very busy with a constant stream of rock trains from Miami and points north (lately, a LOT from points north). They share Kaley Yard with CSXT.
The rails they operate on once ran all the way into Mount Dora (tracks are torn up as far as Sorrento) & CSXT had started to pull up this leftover tangent before CY stepped in.
Ex-CIRR 38 Nee-WATC 54 once worked at the Riviera Beach facility.
