ELS 1223 has just arrived at Ontonagon, MI in July of 2000. Soon it will be switching the large paper mill in town. Unfortunately, the mill closed and much of this line has been torn up.

Casting a beautiful mirror image in a perfectly calm Goose Lake in October of 1988, CNW 6898 leads a loaded ore train to its final destination of Escanaba, MI.
GTW 4907 leads a short local south out of the Pontiac yard and rolls under the GTW search lights.
