After running on the Georgtown Loop from the late 1970s until 1985, Shay 8 on static display at Silver Plume until being moved to Canon City in the mid-2000s.
Ex-West Side Lumber Shay 12 steams into the Silver Plume station with an afternoon train from Georgetown. Note the flags - this was just a week after 9/11, and the mood was somber.
No. 14 backs down towards the Devils Gate Viaduct. After passengers have the opportunity to see the bridge, it will reverse direction and head towards Silver Plume.
