There were SD40-2's from three roads in the erecting shop at the time of the open house at EMD. Southern,Norfolk &Western and Burlington Northern.
At the EMD open house you could climb on anything that wasn't marked "STAY OFF." Here my son Adam and his Godfather Bruce are on a brand new N&W SD40-2 admiring the Leslie S5TR.
