A pair of good lookin' EMD's howl through the large valley just south and west of Lake Benton, MN. After a few sharp curves, the tracks head west-northwest into South Dakota.

A lone geep and a short Tec Train spend all day in the scrap yard. Fortunately, its just a temporary out of the way place, and not their final demise.

With 17 cars from the Geneseo elevator, a pair of ex-BN, ex-WC SD45's bring their train past a cemetery, and into Lidgerwood to make an 84 car pickup.

An empty grain train is on the last leg of its painfully slow trip south to Bismarck, ND. They have just completed a setout of the DMVW 862, and the sun has come out.

It isn't too hard to see that CP 9824 was this years Holiday Train locomotive. Here its making its way around SOO 6059 at Forada.

Just minutes after sunrise, a lone Minnesota Southern geep takes 4 tanks to be interchanged with the Union Pacific at Worthington, MN. Its slow going as the track is not in the greatest shape.
