Alaska Railroad at the time un named Anchorage to Seward passenger train was southbound along Cook Inlet near Turnagain. Fourteen hours later I would photograph it's return in similar sunlite.

Alaska RR northbound Seward to Healy empty coal train was near Indian along the Cook Inlet with some freight included ahead of the empty coal cars.

ARR 4006 leads a 5000' freight train south near Portage on its way to Seward and an awaiting barge. Hard to beat the Alaska Railroad in the wintertime!
