Louisville & Nashville U23B #2817 was built February 1975 and later became CSX #3318

Just south of the junction at Amqui, an SD40-2 in the new number series and FL scheme leads a stealth U30C and an SDP35 - also in FL colors - with coal loads.

Leading a coal train north, L&N C-Cs from all three builders team up with an Alco C630 recently transferred from sister road SCL.

L&N 4018 leads an older GP30 past the yard tower at S&NA Yard. That;s a bit of a rare bird in the background - SCL GP18 1064.

The engineer gives a shout-out to a signal maintainer as his hopper train - led by a trio of U23Bs and a GP40 - rumbles through Jemison.

After coming down the West Point Route from Atlanta as #213, this train heads to Mobile on the L&N as #413 (I think...).
