NS 2743 rounds a bend on the Pittsburgh Sub in Johnstown, PA, as it makes it's way through the river valley.

After toning the dispatcher and recieving permission to occupy the block, D795 continues on it's trip west into the Blue Ridge Mountains (in the distance).

As dusk becomes night, a short eastbound manifest rolls over the crossovers at Shenandoah Junction.

The switch heaters work away on this snowy day as an empty CSX slab train slows to a stop at the EAS signals.

With CSX's new renumbering job, there is no doubt what 4566's previous number was, CSXT 766. This battered and dirty 70MAC is heading up D740 for the eastbound trip to Benning, MD.
