Now in fresh L&N paint for the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum in Oak Ridge Tennessee 1315 is on its way back from the NS interchange at Blair
Today's 11 a.m. run looked packed as L&N 1315 tugged it across the often photographed Poplar Creek bridge and into the former K-25 facility.
Like a ghost from the past, 1315 pops out into an open spot along the ROW, but will then disappear once again behind the vegetation that grows along Poplar Creek.
The race is on between the Secret City Excursion and the blue Pontiac, wonder who will win? At some places on this line the highway and track are just a few feet apart making for an easy chase. Be... (more)
