Got lucky today with the "Vampire Unit" coming out in daylight.

The Rio Grande and CNW heritage units pull a Union Pacific business special back to Denver, about 130 miles away at this point. Never had the CNW unit been on the Moffat Road before.

UP 1989 waits to head back south on the Operation Lifesaver Special that is operating between Rolla, Colorado and La Salle, Colorado.

Not the setting I had hoped for, but when on the hunt for the 1989 I was willing to take what I could get.
