9701 & 8424 power mine run U63 west through the former coal boom town of Davy, WV. Times have gone bust in Davy these days but the rail action remains red hot!

Eastbound U25 races a car through downtown Davy, WV. Moving at full track speed of 45 mph ( and maybe a touch more), my bet is on the coal train to finish in the money.

Westbound J56 has picked up a former N&W cab from the small yard at Caples and will work a cut of hoppers stored in the siding at Sandy Huff a few miles west of Davy.

A set of westbound lite helpers roll through scenic and remote Davy, WV past the old Davy Bar & Grill. The train will assist a 150-car loaded train out of Auville later this evening.
