The most exciting Christmas Tradition continued again in 2006 when Conrail,Freehold Borough PBA No. 159 and many others got together to share a spectacular day with the community.

Santa Claus comes out as the train prepares to stop in downtown Freehold. The second unit is CSXT 4415. These engines are former Conrail locomotives CR 3293 and CR 3314, respectively.

The 2005 Conrail Browns yard Santa Train makes a stop at Builders General on the Freehold Secondary before pulling into town.

The annual Santa Train cuts through some apple orchards as it nears its first stop, the town of Freehold.

After the 2+ hour stop in Freehold, the power is run around the train and redecorated now with CSXT 4412 on the point. The train is heading west towards Jamesburg for another stop.
