NS 219 heads south between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa with an interesting consist that includes a former SD45 and an SD50 (NS 6521). Lead unit KCS 633 was built as C&NW 976 (SD45).
A southbound intermodal passes the distinctive station in Tuscaloosa, which is still a stop for Amtrak's Crescent.
