An SP SD40T-2 and SD45T-2 haul and empty coal train over the Tennessee Pass line along the eagle river. It will shortly be in Minturn where the helpers were stationed.

Having picked up the large DT&I boxcar at Pando, an eastbound freight behind 5396 3002 and 3023 has just set out its helpers at Tennessee Pass in May 1981.

After a meet with eastbound #790 coal, eastbound slag train, behind 3116 3065 3126 and 3017 departs Tennessee Pass siding in July 1981. Once clear, #790 will be able to cut out its nine mid-train ... (more)
