Pacific Harbor Line SD18 42 has been "blue flagged" and is not to be moved, at the Pier A Yard's engine facility in Wilmington, California, on August 11, 2007.
Pacific Harbor Line SD18 41, seen here at Union Pacific's Dolores Yard in Carson, California, is the former C&NW 6637, ex-PNC 1834, rebuilt from Southern SD24 6334, originally Southern 2518.

A lot of the usable parts have been stripped from Pacific Harbor Line SD18 44. This engine started life in January 1960 as SOU SD24 2507 (then became SOU 6308, PNC SD18 1808 and CNW 6626).
