The "Statue of Liberty" greets southbound 11R on the NS Buffalo Line as it passes Second Mountain at 13:43. Photo taken from Routes 11/15 across the Susquehanna River, above CP Banks.
The 11R idles without a crew until the 203 comes and the floodgates open for the low priority trains. This was taken from a grade crossing.

Talk about luck..... The only southbound in the morning leaves 10 seconds after my arrival....the sun comes out for the first time in the day and the power is CR/UP!
11R bridges the Potomac and enters historic Shepherdstown.
It's rush hour at Ashby as 11R blasts through on the main. 227 is on the siding and 228 is right behind 11R, making for a busy afternoon on NS's H Line.
